Finals Game 5: SC Kryvbas - Cherkasy 70-50

SC Kryvbas breezed past Cherkasy in the decisive fifth game of the series and clinched the SL Favorit Sport Superleague Bronze medals. The game was mostly controlled by SC Kryvbas. Cherkasy managed to win fourth quarter 11-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Cherkasy to just 5 points in second quarter. SC Kryvbas forced 19 Cherkasy turnovers. Russian center Dmitri Lipovtsev (207-86) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and the former international point guard Dmytro Zabirchenko (192-84, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. Four SC Kryvbas players scored in double figures. Oleksandr Kobets (194-96) responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds and international forward Alexander Sizov (199-88) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Cherkasy's coach Maksym Mikhelson rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win.
