Gmunden topped Oberwart to force the series into the decisive fifth game. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 33-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Gmunden Swans dominated on the defensive end, holding Redwell Gunners Oberwart to just 6 points in third and fourth quarters. Gmunden Swans looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists.
