Regular Season Round 31: Ironi Nahariya - Bnei Hertzeliyya 69-62

Rather expected game when 6th ranked Bnei Hasharon (15-16) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Ironi Nahariya (17-14) 69-62. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Bnei Hasharon won third quarter 25-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ironi Nahariya brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of Richard Howell (203-90, college: N.Carolina St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Forward Gilbert Brown (198-87, college: Pittsburgh) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Drew Crawford (196-90, college: Northwestern) answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds and forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Bnei Hasharon. Ironi Nahariya maintains fourth place with 17-14 record. Bnei Hasharon lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 16 games lost. Ironi Nahariya's next round opponent will be Maccabi Rishon (#7) in Rishon Le-Zion. Bnei Hasharon will play at home against Maccabi K/G and hope to win that game.
