Regular Season Round 31: St Quentin - St Chamond 78-64

Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Saint Chamond (12-19) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Saint-Quentin (16-16) 78-64 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Saint-Quentin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Saint-Quentin outrebounded Saint Chamond 43-31 including 33 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American swingman Ryan Evans (203-90, college: Wisconsin) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Nigerian power forward Dinma Odiakosa (203-85, college: Illinois St., agency: Inception Sports) helped adding 10 points and 13 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Dustin Salisbery (193-84, college: Temple) responded with 17 points and power forward Pierre Pelos (205-92) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Saint Chamond's coach tested ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Saint-Quentin have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to tenth place. Saint Chamond lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the sixteenth position with 19 games lost. Saint-Quentin will face Denain Voltaire (#14) on the road in the next round. Saint Chamond will play against Le Portel and hope to win that game.
