Regular Season Round 31: Evreux - Denain 86-65

Very predictable result when second ranked ALM Evreux (20-11) smashed at home 14th ranked Denain Voltaire (13-18) 86-65 on Tuesday. The game without a history. ALM Evreux led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Denain Voltaire's 34. They outrebounded Denain Voltaire 36-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. ALM Evreux looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for American guard B.A. Walker (188-84, college: VCU) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. His fellow American import swingman Drake Reed (194-87, college: Austin Peay St., agency: Inception Sports) helped adding 14 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Austin Hollins (195-91, college: Minnesota) responded with 15 points and Isaia Cordinier (194-96) scored 9 points and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ALM Evreux have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 20-11 record having four points less than leader Hyeres-Toulon. Loser Denain Voltaire keeps the fourteenth position with 18 games lost. ALM Evreux will face Lille Metropole (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Denain Voltaire will play against Saint-Quentin and hope to win that game.
