The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Armani Milano (22-8) in Sassari on Wednesday night. Visitors were edged by eighth ranked Banco di Srd (16-14) 83-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Armani Milano. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Armani Milano won third quarter 22-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Four Armani Milano players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Giorgo Tesi PT and Umana VE. Armani Milano at the other side still keeps top position with eight games lost.
