CIBACOPA top team - Rayos de Hermosillo (19-7) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they beat tenth ranked Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon (8-18) 101-85. It was a great shooting night for Rayos de Hermosillo especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. The best player for the winners was American swingman Michael Craig (196-91, college: S.Mississippi) who scored 30 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import power forward Paul Butorac (208-83, college: E.Washington) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. British V.Islands power forward Lester Prosper (208-88, college: Old Westbury) produced 17 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Landon Atterberry (198, college: LIU Brooklyn) added 17 points respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rayos de Hermosillo have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 19-7 record. Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon lost eleventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with 18 games lost. Rayos de Hermosillo will meet league's second-placed Lobos UAD Mazatlan on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon will have a break next round.
