An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Niederanven. Fourth ranked Soleuvre faced 4th ranked Grengewald. Guests from Belvaux (11-21) defeated host Grengewald (15-17) 96-80. Soleuvre forced 21 Grengewald turnovers. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Jordan Downing (196-92, college: Presbyterian) scored 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Derrick Barden (196-92, college: N.Colorado, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) chipped in 11 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Soleuvre players scored in double figures. Soleuvre's coach Kevin Magdowski used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Seth Bachand (198-92, college: Northern St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Bryan Hammond (185-91, college: Angelo St.) scored 25 points and 4 steals. Soleuvre maintains fourth position with 11-21 record. Newly promoted Grengewald still keeps top place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Residence.
