Regular Season Round 31: Tochigi Brex - Hokkaido L. 73-54

Very expected game when 6th ranked Hokkaido L. (28-27) was crushed on the road by second ranked Tochigi Brex (42-12) 73-54 on Sunday. The game without a history. Tochigi Brex led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for American guard Tommy Brenton (196-89, college: Stony Brook) who led his team to a victory scoring 9 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international swingman Takatoshi Furukawa (190-87) helped adding 17 points (perfect from the field making all six shots). Furukawa is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side American forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: Inception Sports) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import forward Jahmar Thorpe (198-84, college: Houston) scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Tochigi Brex maintains second place with 42-12 record having six points less than leader Toyota Alvark. Hokkaido L. lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 27 games lost.
