There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Cantbasket (11-12) lost on the road to ninth ranked TAKE Tolosa (11-12) 66-50 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by TAKE Tolosa. Cantbasket was better in third quarter 12-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TAKE Tolosa held Cantbasket to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Guard Lander Lasa (193-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 9 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Benat Azaldegi (196-94) contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American center Chris Matagrano (206-90, college: New Hampshire) answered with 12 points and 8 rebounds and forward Miguel Angel Blanco (195-74) added 14 points in the effort for Cantbasket.
