No shocking result in a game when third ranked Maccabi Haifa (19-13) defeated at home 5th ranked Hapoel Eilat (16-16) 71-58. The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi Haifa. Hapoel Eilat was better in third quarter 14-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Maccabi Haifa forced 21 Hapoel Eilat turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Maccabi Haifa maintains third position with 19-13 record having seven points less than leader Hapoel J-M. Hapoel Eilat lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 16 games lost.
