Regular Season Round 34: Chalon - Dijon 85-81

The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Chalon/Saor's (22-12) home victory over 7th ranked JDA Dijon (20-14) 85-81. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 27-17. But JDA Dijon won second period 18-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Chalon/Saor made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a very good performance for center Devin Booker (203-91, college: Clemson) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Justin Brownlee (197-88, college: St.John's) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Brownlee is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Chalon/Saor's coach Jean-Denys Choulet used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard David Holston (168-86, college: Chicago St.) replied with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and guard C.J. Williams (196-90, college: N.Carolina St.) added 16 points in the effort for JDA Dijon. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Chalon/Saor moved-up to fourth place. JDA Dijon at the other side dropped to the ninth position with 14 games lost.
