Very predictable result when fifth ranked Rockhampton Rockets (2-2) outscored at home bottom-ranked Toowoomba Mountaineers (0-4) 116-84 on Friday. Rockhampton Rockets made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Rockhampton Rockets outrebounded Toowoomba Mountaineers 53-37 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Power forward Auryn MacMillan (204-87, college: Gardner-Webb) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. American guard Jordan Gregory (188-92, college: Montana) chipped in 29 points. Four Rockhampton Rockets players scored in double figures. Rockhampton Rockets will face league's leader Townsville Heat in Hermit Park in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Toowoomba Mountaineers will play on the road against Rollers (#11) in Gold Coast and hope to get finally their first victory.
