Another interesting game for Pioneros Los Mochis (14-16) which played on the court of 4th placed Caballeros de Culiacan (17-12). Seventh ranked Pioneros Los Mochis won 112-103. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Caballeros de Culiacan. Pioneros Los Mochis made 32-of-42 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game, while Caballeros de Culiacan only scored sixteen points from the stripe. Caballeros de Culiacan at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 12 games lost. Pioneros Los Mochis will play against Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon (#10) at home in the next round. Caballeros de Culiacan will play against Tijuana Zonkeys (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
