There was a surprise result when sixteenth ranked Blusens Monbus (10-23) won against on the road higher ranked Andorra (12-21) 84-74 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Blusens Monbus. Andorra was better in second period 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for Lithuanian forward Eimantas Bendzius (205-90) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 5 rebounds. American-Italian forward Angelo Caloiaro (205-89, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Serbian forward Luka Bogdanovic (210-85) answered with 21 points and Cape Verdean-Portuguese Joao Gomes (201-85) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Andorra. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Blusens Monbus moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Manresa. Andorra lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 21 games lost. Blusens Monbus will face higher ranked Unicaja Malaga (#6) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
