Illibaum cruised past Benfica B to sweep the semifinal series. The game without a history. Illiabum led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Benfica B's 36 and made 29-of-35 charity shots (82.9 percent) during the game, while Benfica B only scored twelve points from the stripe. Illiabum forced 22 Benfica B turnovers. Benfica B was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Angolan forward Sergio Correia (198-85) notched 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and international Augusto Sobrinho (188-85) supported him with 21 points. Even 10 points and 4 assists by swingman Sergio Silva (193-96) did not help to save the game for Benfica B. Serbian power forward Veljko Stankovic (199-97) added 13 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
