Regular Season Round 35: Navolato - Obregon 99-105

Bottom-ranked Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon managed to get a tenth victory, breaking the series of two consecutive loses on Saturday night. This time newly promoted Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon won against tenth-ranked Garra Canera de Navolato 105-99. Americans were the main players on the court. It was an exceptional evening for forward Taylor Brown (198-89, college: Bradley) who led the winners and scored 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Guard Geron Johnson (190-92, college: Memphis) accounted for 28 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Tyrone White (201-90, college: CSU Bakersfield) came up with 28 points and 7 rebounds and forward Rashad Bishop (198-88, college: Cincinnati) added 20 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Garra Canera de Navolato in the defeat. Four Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon and five Garra Canera de Navolato players scored in double figures. Garra Canera de Navolato's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon (10-20) moved-up to tenth place. Loser Garra Canera de Navolato dropped to the bottom position with 21 games lost. Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon will meet higher ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Garra Canera de Navolato will play against Vaqueros (#8) and hope to secure a win.
