Regular Season Round 10: Sutherland S. - Manly Warr. 71-62

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Sutherland Sharks and 8th ranked Manly Warringah Sea Eagles had identical 2-6 record. This time Sutherland Sharks used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Narrabeen 71-62 on Saturday night. Isaac Turner fired 31 points for the winners. Guard Daniel Hill (173-93) chipped in 10 points and 5 assists. Naturalized Polish swingman Stefan Blaszczynski (196-84, college: Nicholls St.) produced 32 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Jacob Braddy (192) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sutherland Sharks (3-6) moved-up to eighth place in League. Loser Manly Warringah Sea Eagles dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. Sutherland Sharks will face higher ranked Maitland Mustangs (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will play against Bankstown Bruins in Condell Park and hope to win that game.
