Regular Season Round 35: Mazatlan - Guaymas 86-90

The game between second ranked Lobos UAD Mazatlan (20-13) and fifth ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (18-14) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Lobos UAD Mazatlan was defeated by Ostioneros de Guaymas in a tough game in Mazatlan 86-90. American players dominated the game. Point guard Jordan Bedford (183-92, college: Belhaven) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points. Guard Justin Bocot (193-88, college: S.Illinois) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Bedford is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Point guard Curtis Stinson (191-83, college: Iowa St.) answered with 22 points and guard Jeff Ledbetter (190-88, college: Idaho) added 16 points in the effort for Lobos UAD Mazatlan. Four Lobos UAD Mazatlan players scored in double figures. Lobos UAD Mazatlan's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ostioneros de Guaymas moved-up to fourth place. Lobos UAD Mazatlan at the other side keeps the second position with 13 games lost. Ostioneros de Guaymas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lobos UAD Mazatlan will play at home against Fuerza Guinda Nogales and is hoping to win this game.
