Leader Academia delivered the sixteenth victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked Piratas (2-17) 101-74 in Montana. Academia dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Piratas' 28. They outrebounded Piratas 53-40 including a 40-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Academia brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Puerto Rican-Dominican forward Jonathan Rodriguez (196-87, college: Campbell) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international power forward Divier Perez (201-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Academia players scored in double figures. Academia's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Brandon Givens (198-87, college: NC-Wesleyan) answered with 25 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import swingman Antonio Davis (196-82, college: Urbana) added 24 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Piratas. Academia (16-3) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place. Piratas lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost.
