Tofas cruised past Afyon on the road to sweep the quarterfinal series. Tofas players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a great evening for Dominican-American guard Sammy Mejia (198-83, college: De Paul) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 5 assists. The former international power forward Kaya Peker (207-80, agency: Court Side) helped adding 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Tofas' coach Orhun Ene allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American center David Weaver (207-87, college: Wake Forest) with 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and power forward Eren Ocakturk (204-87, agency: 1x1 Sports) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
