Regular Season Round 36: Guasave - Hermosillo 70-66

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (24-9) on the court of third ranked Frayles de Guasave on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by Frayles de Guasave 70-66. Strangely Rayos de Hermosillo outrebounded Frayles de Guasave 48-36 including 34 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Jordan Williams (198, college: N.Texas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Jeremie Hart (188, college: McMurry) who added 6 points and 11 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Emmanuel Little (196-85, college: N.Dakota) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Michael Craig (196-91, college: S.Mississippi) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Frayles de Guasave maintains third position with 20-13 record having four points less than leader Hermosillo. Rayos de Hermosillo at the other side still keeps top place with nine games lost. Frayles de Guasave are again looking forward to face league's leader Rayos de Hermosillo at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rayos de Hermosillo will have a break next round.
