Fenerbahce toppled Usak to take 1-0 lead in the quarterfinal series. Fenerbahce Ulker dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Usak Sportlif's 20. Greek guard Konstantinos Sloukas (197-90) nailed 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Nigerian power forward Ekpe Udoh (208-87, college: Baylor) accounted for 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Fenerbahce Ulker players scored in double figures. Canadian center Khem Birch (208-92, college: UNLV) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and American swingman Paul Harris (193-86, college: Syracuse) added 20 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Usak Sportlif in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
