The game with biggest result difference took place in Mazatlan. Local Lobos UAD Mazatlan (22-13) outscored 9th ranked Fuerza Guinda Nogales (12-22) 119-92 on Wednesday night. Lobos UAD Mazatlan shot the lights out from three sinking 20 long-distance shots on high 64.5 percentage. American guard Jeff Ledbetter (190-88, college: Idaho) fired 33 points (!!!) and 5 assists for the winners. His fellow American import power forward Kourtney Roberson (206-90, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. Lobos UAD Mazatlan's coach Eric Weissling felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bahamas power forward Ryan Moss (200-74, college: UALR) produced 22 points and 9 rebounds and Nigerian-Jamaican swingman Weyinmi Rose (196-86, college: Providence) added 20 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Lobos UAD Mazatlan maintains second place with 22-13 record having just two points less than leader Hermosillo. Fuerza Guinda Nogales lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 22 games lost. Lobos UAD Mazatlan will have a break next round. Fuerza Guinda Nogales will play at home against Ostioneros de Guaymas (#4) and hope to win that game.
