Quarter-Finals Round 2: Royal Hali - Anadolu Efes 64-73

Anadolu Efes marched into the semifinals following a road success against Royal Hali. Anadolu Efes dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Royal Hali's 20. Uruguayan-Italian point guard Jayson Granger (188-89) notched 19 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Derrick Brown (202-87, college: Xavier) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Granger is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 18 points and 6 rebounds by American forward Jawad Williams (204-83, college: N.Carolina) did not help to save the game for Royal Hali. American-Bulgarian guard Earl Calloway (191-83, college: Indiana) added 7 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
