Balikesir outgunned Denizli to seal their TBL semifinal appearance. Balikesir dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Denizli's 18. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Denizli's players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Ahmet Tuncer (193-93, agency: 1x1 Sports) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 assists. American forward Mike Davis (205-88, college: Illinois) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Balikesir's coach Mete Babaoglu used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Kenny Boynton (188-91, college: Florida) replied with 28 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import center Hilton Armstrong (210-84, college: Connecticut) added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Denizli.
