Liga Endesa top team - FC Barcelona (29-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked CB Canarias (16-18) 93-58. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of CB Canarias. The game without a history. FC Barcelona led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian center Ante Tomic (217-87, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Jamaican power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five FC Barcelona players scored in double figures. Forward Javier Beiran (200-87) replied with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Montenegrin center Blagota Sekulic (210-82) added 12 points in the effort for CB Canarias. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. FC Barcelona maintains first position with 29-5 record, which they share with Real Madrid. CB Canarias at the other side keeps the ninth place with 18 games lost.
