There was no surprise in Vitoria where 16th ranked La ICL Manresa (10-24) was edged by fourth ranked Laboral Kutxa (24-10) 83-80 on Sunday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. La ICL Manresa was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 29-24 charge of Laboral Kutxa, which allowed them to win the game. American point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Stealth Sport) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Greek center Ioannis Bourousis (212-83) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American swingman Chase Simon (198-89, college: Detroit Mercy) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian center Dejan Musli (213-91, agency: Beo Basket) scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Laboral Kutxa maintains fourth position with 24-10 record. La ICL Manresa lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth place with 24 games lost.
