Semi-Finals Game 2: Tofas - Sakarya BSB 81-70

Tofas rallied past Sakarya BSB to take 2-0 lead in the semifinal series. Tofas players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Dominican-American guard Sammy Mejia (198-83, college: De Paul) scored 35 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Baris Ermis (194-85) chipped in 11 points and 11 assists during the contest. Tofas' coach Orhun Ene allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American Sean Evans (203-88, college: St.John's) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and forward Caner Ercan (205-86) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Sakarya BSB players scored in double figures.
