Very expected game in Eltham where 11th ranked Wildcats (2-11) were rolled over by fourth ranked Knox Raiders (9-1) 78-50 on Saturday. Knox Raiders dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Wildcats' 32. Knox Raiders forced 24 Wildcats turnovers and outrebounded them 59-33 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Korinne Campbell (184-88, college: W.Virginia) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Elli Lovelace (178-90) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Georgia Dale produced 18 points and Lauren Bennett added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Knox Raiders moved-up to third place in League. Loser Wildcats keep the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Knox Raiders will face league's second-placed Hawks in Heathmont in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Wildcats will play against Venom (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
