Undefeated Flames (10-1) recorded its first loss in Marden on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Tigers (8-3) 71-58. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 25-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was center Tara Robinson (185-87) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Ta'Rea Cunnigan (175-93, college: San Jose St.) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four Tigers players scored in double figures. Cara Annetts produced 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Chelsea Brook added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Tigers maintains fourth place in League with 8-3 record. Flames at the other side still keep top position with one game lost. Tigers are looking forward to face league's second-placed Rockets in Adelaide in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Flames will play on the road against Panthers in Adelaide and are hoping to win this game.
