There was a surprise result when ninth ranked Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (3-8) rolled over higher ranked Crusaders (8-3) in Narrabeen 68-49 on Saturday. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles forced 30 Crusaders turnovers. It was a good game for swingman Nathan Kirwan (196) who led his team to a victory with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Cale Bulgin contributed with 13 points and 4 assists for the winners. Jack Robilliard replied with 6 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Oliver Robilliard (188) added 6 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Crusaders. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles moved-up to eighth place in League. Loser Crusaders dropped to the third position with three games lost. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will face Hills Hornets (#11) in Baulkham Hills in the next round. Crusaders will play at home against Maitland Mustangs (#7) and hope to win that game.
