The game in Cundinamarca was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Halcones (12-12) played at the court of 6th ranked Condores (9-15). Halcones managed to secure a 5-point victory 84-79 on Saturday. Strangely Condores outrebounded Halcones 42-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward R.J. McGhee (198, college: Oklahoma City, agency: CGL Sports) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import forward Sean Harris (201, college: Utah St.) who added 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Stalin Ortiz (190-81, college: Valparaiso) with 35 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals and swingman Emiro Romero (194-84) scored 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Halcones have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sabios. Condores lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 15 games lost. Halcones will meet league's leader Academia in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Condores will play against the league's second-placed Cimarrones (#2) in Quibdo-Choco and hope to secure a win.
