Finals Game 3: Juventus - Lietuvos rytas 78-83

Lietuvos Rytas rallied past Juventus to gain 2-0 lead in the Bronze medals series. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 22-13. But Juventus won second period 20-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Lietuvos rytas won last quarter 22-18. They made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a great evening for the former international center Antanas Kavaliauskas (208-84, college: Texas A&M, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 5 rebounds. International swingman Gediminas Orelik (199-90, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 9 points and 4 assists. Lietuvos rytas' coach used entire bench in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American swingman Chavaughn Lewis (196-93, college: Marist) with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and power forward Arminas Urbutis (206-86, college: Hofstra, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Five Juventus players scored in double figures.
