Semi-Finals Game 3: Partizan - FMP 87-78

Partizan rallied past FMP to seal their KLS Finals appearance. They will now take on their archrivals Crvena Zvezda for the title. FMP trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 24-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 78-87 at the end of the game. Partizan made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Partizan outrebounded FMP 36-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by FMP helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Novica Velickovic (205-86, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. American-Finnish point guard Jamar Wilson (185-84, college: Albany) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Dragan Apic (206-95) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Stefan Lazarevic (197-96) added 14 points and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
