Finals Game 1: Tofas - Balikesir 88-82

Tofas fired past Balikesir to claim TBL title. 24 personal fouls committed by Balikesir helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican-American guard Sammy Mejia (198-83, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 rebounds. Bulgarian power forward Kaloyan Ivanov (205-86, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Tofas players scored in double figures. American point guard Alfrie Kelley (183-85, college: S.Carolina) answered with 21 points and 8 assists and forward Tufan Onen (202-89) added 13 points in the effort for Balikesir. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
