Very predictable result when third ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (25-16) defeated on the road 10th ranked Garra Canera de Navolato (15-26) 85-81 on Friday. Ostioneros de Guaymas dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Garra Canera de Navolato's 36. Dominican guard Luis Flores (188-81, college: Manhattan, agency: 011 Sports) fired 25 points for the winners. American guard Paul Marigney (192-82, college: St.Mary's, CA) chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Ostioneros de Guaymas players scored in double figures.
