Everything could happen in Loganholme at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Logan Thunder and 7th ranked Dolphins had identical 5-2 record. This time Logan Thunder used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Cairns 78-67. Logan Thunder made 21-of-23 charity shots (91.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Dolphins turnovers. It was a very good performance for guard Kate Gaze (173-90, college: St.Mary's, CA) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 4 assists (made all of her ten free throws !!!). The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Logan Thunder. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Perry Lakes H.
