Finals Game 5: Anadolu Efes - Fener.Ulker 80-72

Anadolu Efes remained alive in the BSL Finals. They edged Fenerbahce Ulker to cut the deficit at 2-3 in the series. Fenerbahce Ulker was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Strangely Fenerbahce Ulker outrebounded Anadolu Efes 36-24 including 23 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Anadolu Efes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The best player for the winners was French point guard Thomas Heurtel (189-89, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Uruguayan-Italian point guard Jayson Granger (188-89) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Granger is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Czech power forward Jan Vesely (213-90) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and Italian forward Luigi Datome (203-87) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
