Rather predictable result in Terrigal where fourth ranked Crusaders (11-8) defeated 6th ranked Spiders (8-11) 90-78 on Saturday. They outrebounded Spiders 51-31 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Callum Jenkins who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds and Matthew Bateup who added 14 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Crusaders players scored in double figures. Joshua Chapman responded with 24 points and 5 rebounds and Kulvir Grewal produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Despite that victory Crusaders went down to fifth position (League) due to points difference. Loser Spiders keep the sixth place with 11 games lost. Crusaders will have a break next round. Spiders will play at home against Bankstown Bruins (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
