Regular Season Round 20: McKinnon C. - Knox R. 87-96

Rather expected game when 5th ranked McKinnon C. (11-9) was defeated at home by third ranked Knox Raiders (16-5) 96-87 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Mike Rose (193-87, college: E.Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 5 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and Adrian Tomada who added 25 points and 7 assists (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!) during the contest. American forward Dillon Stith (200, college: St.Vincent) responded with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Alex Bogart-King (200) scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Knox Raiders maintains third position in League with 16-5 record having just four point less than leader Geelong S. Loser McKinnon C. dropped to the sixth place with nine games lost. Knox Raiders will face league's leader Stingrays in Geelong in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. McKinnon C. will play on the road against the league's second-placed Waverley Falcons (#2) in Mount Waverley and hope to win that game.
