Very predictable result when fifth ranked Eltham Wildcats (13-8) smashed at home 11th ranked Whittlesea City (2-18) 111-69 on Sunday. Eltham Wildcats dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Whittlesea City's 26. Eltham Wildcats forced 21 Whittlesea City turnovers and outrebounded them 49-31 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Eltham Wildcats looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Whittlesea City's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Benjamin Waldren who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists and American forward Adam Moore (198-77, college: IPFW) who added 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Eltham Wildcats players scored in double figures. Eltham Wildcats' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Chris Kaba (203-88, college: N.Colorado) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and Jake Dunstan scored 14 points. Eltham Wildcats maintains fifth position in League with 13-8 record. Loser Whittlesea City keeps the eleventh place with 18 games lost.
