The game in Piracicaba was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Paulistano (7-3) played at the court of 8th ranked XV Piracicaba (2-8). Paulistano did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 91-72. It looked good early as XV Piracicaba took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Paulistano had a 30-19 second period charge getting the lead and XV Piracicaba was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 72-91. Paulistano dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to XV Piracicaba's 20. They outrebounded XV Piracicaba 38-20 including a 27-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Paulistano especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. XV Piracicaba was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Guilherme Hubner (208-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Lucas Dias Silva (209-95) contributed with 14 points and 7 assists for the winners. Guard Will Evangelista (185-84) replied with 18 points and 5 assists and Fransergio Marques (190-81) added 17 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for XV Piracicaba. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Paulistano maintains fourth position with 7-3 record. XV Piracicaba lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with eight games lost.
