The game in David was also quite interesting. Second ranked Halcones (5-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Toros (2-5). Halcones managed to secure a 8-point victory 89-81 on Saturday. Halcones shot 27 for 38 from the free-throw line, while Toros only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Toros 43-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Halcones looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Forward Ernesto Oglivie (203-89) fired 30 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. International power forward Antonio Garcia (202-76, college: Ky Wesleyan) chipped in 7 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists. Naturalized American guard Antonio Bumpus (190-89, college: Cumberlands) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Joel Munoz (183-80, agency: Paris Global Sports) added 18 points and 10 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Halcones have a solid series of three victories in a row. They used an opportunity after Panteras lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Toros lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with five games lost. They share the position with Caballos. Halcones' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Panama City Aguilas.
