Regular Season Round 1: CFBB - Gries/Oberhoffen 52-63

Another exciting game was played in Paris between Gries/Oberhoffen and CFBB where Gries/Oberhoffen (1-0) beat CFBB (0-1) on the road 63-52. CFBB was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 31-14 second half run of Gries/Oberhoffen. They dominated on the defensive end, holding CFBB to just 6 points in fourth quarter and to 14 points in second half. They outrebounded CFBB 45-31 including 19 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Glenn Duro (193-88) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 9 rebounds. Ahmed Doumbia (195-89) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Center Thimotee Bazille (201-99) answered with 10 points and 8 rebounds and forward Ivan Fevrier (200-99) added 14 points and 6 steals in the effort for CFBB. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gries/Oberhoffen will play against Lourdes-Tarbes (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. CFBB will play against GET Vosges (#14) in Golbey to get more than just one victory in their record.
