Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Panama City: Halcones (#1) and Aguilas (#4). Halcones (6-2) won against visiting Aguilas (3-5) 75-69. Aguilas were ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 39-32 second half run of Halcones. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. International power forward Antonio Garcia (202-76, college: Ky Wesleyan) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists.
