The former international forward Leonardo Gutierrez (200-78) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Penarol's coach Marcelo Richotti felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International guard Luca Vildoza (190-95) produced 21 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and international power forward Ivan Basualdo (202-90) added 4 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Penarol will face Boca Juniors (#3) in Buenos Aires in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Quilmes MP will play at home against Boca Juniors (#3) and hope to win that game.
