The game in Yokohama was also quite interesting. Hitachi Sunrockers (2-0) played at the court of Yokohama BC (0-2). Hitachi Sunrockers did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 81-63 on Saturday. Yokohama BC was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 29-10 charge of Hitachi Sunrockers, which allowed them to win the game. Trinidad and Tobago forward Kadeem Jack (206-92, college: Rutgers) fired 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Kenta Hirose (193-85) chipped in 11 points and 6 assists. Five Hitachi Sunrockers players scored in double figures. The former international guard Takuya Kawamura (193-86) produced 15 points and 4 assists and American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) added 8 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Hitachi Sunrockers will have a break next round. Yokohama BC will play again at home against Hitachi Sunrockers (#1) and hope to win that game.
