Important game to mention about took place in Nagano. Bambitious Nara (2-0) saved a 2-point derby victory on the road edging Shinshu BW (0-2) 74-72 on Saturday evening. Shinshu BW was ahead by 12 points after three quarters before a 26-12 charge of Bambitious Nara, which allowed them to win the game. Nigerian forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) nailed 8 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and guard Shuhei Komatsu (185-85) accounted for 11 points. American forward Will Carter (200-88, college: San Jose St., agency: HMS) came up with 14 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import power forward Jamal Boykin (203-87, college: California) added 14 points respectively for Shinshu BW in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Bambitious Nara will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Shinshu BW will play again at home against Bambitious Nara (#1) to get more than just one victory in their record.
