Regular Season Round 1: Nagoya DD - Kyoto Hannar. 81-74

The biggest surprise of round 1 in B League took place in Nagoya where host Diamond Dolphins (1-1) beat Kyoto Hannar. (1-1) 81-74 on Saturday evening. The hosts trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 26-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Justin Burrell (207-88, college: St.John's) fired 29 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. His fellow American import forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and guard Genki Kojima (180-94) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kyoto Hannar. will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest. Diamond Dolphins will try to continue on its current victory against Kyoto Hannar. at home.
